They discussed the international academic papers co-published by the teachers of both schools and enrollment matters.

They discussed on the following topics:

1. Joint research: Teachers from both sides apply for funding for research and co-publish international academic papers and journals to deepen communication  between professors.

2. Admissions: Thai professors said that if there are international high school summer camps organized by Tamkang University(TKU), they can arrange for private high school students to participate in order to attract Thai students to study at TKU. In addition, I hope to arrange for more KU students to participate in the TEEP@AsiaPlus project of Ministry of Education for internships in TKU, to experience higher education in Taiwan for a short time, and to increase the willingness of Thai college students to study for masters in TKU.

Mr. Somchoke Ruengittinun said that he would bring valuable information back to the school and notify other campuses to start enrollment cooperation matters. They also warmly welcomes TKU students to study at KU

Tzung-Hang Lee said that he was delighted that the professors from the sister schools in Thailand came to visit. This meeting has further consensus on academic exchanges and enrollment. Furthermore, the academic exchanges are not limited to engineering or science fields. It’s good to have communicate between teachers from both sides on the other fields such as social sciences and humanities. This visit will make the relationship between the two schools closer, and more foreign students will come to study at TKU in the future.
