Yung-Fu Lu, General Manager of Hung Sheng Construction CO., LTD. and Chief Human Resource Officer of Hungtai Group Chien-Yi Fu led a group of 7 senior executives to visit Tamkang University on December 31, 2020. This visit was hosted by Tzung-Hang Lee, the Dean of the College of Engineering and the Dean of Artificial Innovative Intelligence College along with Chen-Jung Lin, the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Tzong-Ru Tsai, the Dean of the College of Business and Management, Hui-Ling Pan,the Dean of the College of Education, Shih-Jung Wu, the Dean of Student Affairs, and the all Chairman of the College of Engineering participated in the discussion. To recreate Tamsui prosperity，they discussed the topics about local humanities and arts,local employment, industry-academia cooperation, Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) and combines corporate social responsibility (CSR) and university social responsibility (USR), etc.

Yung-Fu Lu proposed a concept of location development, to reinvent Tamsui as an international and bilingual city, with smart structure and buildings. He hoped that industry, government, and academia would work together. Chen-Jung Lin responded that the teachers and students of Tamkang University have deep feelings and responsibilities for Tamsui. They conduct cultural research, image reconstruction and regional services in the local area, hoping to cooperate with local enterprises to enhance students' willingness to settle employment in Tamsui. Tzung-Hang Lee indicate that the cooperation could extend to other departments of the school in addition to the College of Engineering and the College of Artificial Innovative Intelligence. Also he will unit relevant units in the school, teachers and students to join the project. He looks forward to making Tamsui as a smart city so that everyone can enjoy the convenience of AI life.
